The goal of our payout report is to make it easy for the organization to compare bid amounts with actual transaction amounts.
Here is an example dispute regarding auction payout:
Why isn't the payout report showing a payment for the Spa Package?
--No one bid on the Spa Package, thus a payment was not accepted. Refer to your auction dashboard to check the bid history for that individual item.
--The winning bidder's payment method was denied or returned as insufficient funds. It is the organization's responsibility to contact this person for another form of payment.
--It seems as though the winning bidder did not pay and has not made an attempt to do so after being contacted. You may want to consider consulting the bid history of the item and offering it to the next highest bidder.
--Our apologies, there must have been a mistake in our system. Upon checking the bid dashboard and the payment portal, we have confirmed that this item WAS paid for.
