Here are some great ways to get the word out about your event on Facebook.
1. As soon as you have your Bidr Event Site set up and are ready to sell your tickets, you can copy and paste your Bidr URL so that you can use it in your first Facebook post!
Here are a couple different ways to post it:
**In the comments section, you can tag your friends, encouraging them to share the post.
2. Next, you will want to start promoting individual items. Each auction item has it's own unique webpage/URL. You can get to this URL by clicking on the item from your Bidr Event Site OR it's even easier if you locate the item in the admin dashboard and click on the Item Link button.
3. Then, you can copy and paste this link for a post on Facebook. Focus on tagging the business or person that donated the item. This gives them the opportunity to promote it on THEIR Facebook page.
This really helps increase the exposure for the bidding on that item, as well as your event in general. Some might click on the link to find out about the item and go on to browse your entire auction!
4. You can also let everyone know how close you are to reaching your goal. Take a screen shot of the analytics section of your Bidr Event Site and let your community know how much money you have raised so far!
