Your Bidr event comes with a unique url for digital signage to show the total amount raised at your event, highlight auction items and shout out thanks to your supporters! It is a great way to generate excitement and enthusiasm among attendees at your event.
The signage will include a logo for your organization and a total for money raised from bidding and donations (not from ticketing). When a supporter texts 'DONATE' and then makes a donation, the screen will thank them by name saying "Thanks Shonda! You're a great supporter!" and then a new total will be shown. The screen will also show instructions on how to donate at the event and it will pull in images from your auction items.
Your signage url is bidr.co/donations/EVENTNAME. The event name you insert here for your digital signage is the same used in your event page url.
To upload a logo for the signage, go to your event dashboard where you create and edit your event. Click the pencil icon and then the rocket ship tab. Scroll down and you will see the place to upload an image for your signage.
The specifications for your AV are 1920 x 1080 pixels or a ratio of 16:9.
The signage runs on a 5 minute loop and is designed to be used throughout the event. Make sure if you have an emcee or announcer to alert them in advance and have them use the signage to highlight totals and boost the excitement and event revenues!
